Stephen Weiner is a lifelong New Yorker, who lives in Queens with his wife of 37 years and their adult developmentally-disabled son. He is an attorney whose experience in the Queens Surrogate Court began in the 1990s, and whose legal practice is focused on wills, estate planning, probate, trusts and guardianships, the core of the Surrogate Court’s docket. He graduated from Columbia Law School, and before that from Yale University. He grew up in the Bronx in a family with limited means in the 1960s and 1970s and attended the Bronx High School of Science.
