U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Bed-Stuy, Brownsville, East New York, Canarsie, Mill Basin, Coney Island & South Ozone Park, Howard Beach in Queens), a member of House Democratic Leadership and the Judiciary Committee, yesterday grilled U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions about his relationship with Russian operatives, his actions when he was a U. S. Senator and other topics.
Previous to becoming a lawmaker, Jeffires, who grew up in Crown Heights was a practicing attorney serving as a litigator in the white shoe law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison before becoming assistant litigator for Viacom and CBS for Viacom and CBS.
