After growing up with childhood adversities and economic disparities, and relearning how to walk again after a horrific accident that almost left her paralyzed, Wilkinson realized community was always there for her; and she has continued to make community a priority.. A former business woman and health care provider for the homeless, safety and affordable housing are two of Wilkinson’s priorities.
